I don't think he got the mainstream popularity that he deserved. The first albums were brilliant, like Misplaced Childhood, but the other band members wanted to go in a different direction.

He certainly has, and the numbers seem to grow at each gig, but he was sorely misjudged musically. The lyrics to his old songs were very good. Where's he touring?
