The DP one's very mediocre. Even the write-up about it says it wasn't a hit.
Not keen on what I've heard of Rush, but that one wasn't too bad.

I remember first hearing that when I was about 14. I liked it at the time, but wasn't ever "into" the band.

STILL the best "live" performance by a "classic" rock band I've ever seen...wish I had been there to have seen it "in person," but I remember watching it on TV, nearly 30 years ago. Enjoy...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A22oy8dFjqc

I believe I was, too, but that's the lovely thing about the time differences between the US and the UK. Y'all are several hours ahead of us ;-)

It's all a bit of a blur now anyway,
I particuarly remember Chubby Checker and the Fat Boys and Dire Straits with Eric Clapton on guitar.

Queen were brilliant. They still are, but Freddie's really irreplaceable. The nearest to him seems to be Adam Lambert who's touring with them atm.

I haven't heard Adam Lambert (don't even know who he is), but I will check it out, because I LOVE Queen! I was reasonably impressed with George Michael's performance with Queen during the Freddie Mercury tribute concert: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmfY07cgsiw. Am off, now, to find me some Adam Lambert with Queen

Yes, George Michael wasn't bad at all, and I think a lot of people thought he'd make a good replacement for Freddie, but now that Adam's burst on the scene, I've listened to all 3 of them, and think that Adam's the closest in pitch. See what you think.
Once he gets into here, here's Freddie ...

And now Adam .... approx. 56 seconds in ...

Okay, I am suitably impressed with Mr. Lambert. I was also happily impressed to see that Brian May is still almost as awesome as he ever was...of course, on the day that he ever has to hang up his guitar, at least he DOES have that Ph.D in astrophysics to fall back on!
