Napoleaon XIV
Re: Napoleaon XIV
10????
They're Coming to Take Me Away, Ha-Haaa! is a 1966 novelty record by Jerry Samuels, and released on Warner Bros. Records. The song became an instant success in the United States, peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 popular music singles chart on 13 August[1] and reaching No. 4 on the UK Singles Chart
This used to scare me as a kid..

Upon further investigation I determined the ten years referred to when it was published (on YouTube?) and not when the song was first recorded.
The version in the link, by the way, has a flip side where the song is sung backwards.Published on Feb 9, 2008

Here is Samuels' narrative about how the song came about. It's an interesting read and he IS a little crazy.
