No, never. I think one of their gigs'd be pretty good though.

I thought they may be too poppy for you..
If I could return and see a gig again it would be seeing the 'rock and royal' one at the palace bowl with Ian Dury and the blockheads and Spirit..
great stuff 007..

If I was 16 again T, I wouldn't like the PSB, but after seeing them on whichever big show it was on TV, I thought they sounded great.

Yes, those who got to see Ian were lucky. I can't tell you a particular gig I'd like to re-live. All've been OK in their own ways.

in your case they must all gel into one!

That's partly true, and maybe why no particular one stands out, but going to gigs doesn't faze me or send me into raptures because yes, I've been to so many.

I would like to see Metallica ...
but not near the speakers..
just to get a real taste of a metal gig..

There're some better ones you could start with, because their early stuff wasn't heavy metal, but thrash. It depends on what you're after, but possibly finding a gig where you know they're going to cover one or two of your favourite songs might be best at first.

I've been to a lot but not really metal,
Peter Gabriel, Bowie, Peters and Lee!,
I must make a list ...
The Undertones,
The Thompson Twins
Paul Simon,
The Damned...
Ultravox...not seen Sabbath...damn..
Have you seen Sabbath Icey?

No. I don't particularly like them, Arch. They've made one or two good records, but there isn't an entire album which I love.

No metal though...that surprised me though as I always championed rock music...
The nearest is The Damned...
Guillemots were very good!!!

I think the Damned were great. The Guillemots don't do it for me, because they haven't got that exciting edge to their music which I like, but one or two of their tunes were OK when I listened to them. I was brought up on rock music, so although I like different sounds, that's my favourite.
