I think most bands are, although many gigs today use pre-recorded bits. Sometimes bands sound better when they've recorded in a studio and any bad parts've been altered, but you can't beat the atmosphere of seeing them live on stage.

I was only quite young - 11 or 12. I was having a fun day at the festival with some relatives of mine, and then it started raining so we were sheltering near the side stalls. I could've easily missed him because there was so much to look at and so much else to listen to. I caught Cliff for about 5 minutes, but at least got to the front and saw Floyd in all their glory. : )

Ha, you'd be better off making daisy chains...
Elton is really worth seeing though, great songs and pure fun.
If you are lucky though Reg will have a hissy fit about whatever's riling him..
