No. I don't think he was meaning to show ANYONE. He was staring at it, as if sort of checking that he still had it, then hid it again, but it bothered me. I would've phoned the police, except that I'd have needed to've gone round the block again to take in what this guy looked like. I was focussed on this knife, and what he might suddenly do with it, more than clocking his description.

I hate to say this, but he was a black man, and yes, he was alone, but must've been seen by others even if no one else noticed him take the knife out from under his jacket, because it was nice and sunny and in a busy area.
