Mandatory evacuation orders have been issued to residents of northern Alberta Province due to the spreading threat cause by out of control wild fires. Apparently the fires have been in progress for several days, but now they are threatening the city of McMurray. Roads are grid locked by people trying to escape, and conditions are changing rapidly. I can't imagine the devastation people up north are experiencing. My heart goes out to all of them.
