Most of those photographs are stunning due to the sky lights. I have to admit that nothing a human can do could match what Mother Nature does. As you know, I changed my Farcebook profile header to show the sunrise here in Missouri. It can be stunning. But, not as stunning as that bathing beauty in the water surrounded by ice. :wtf:

It may be beautiful in Lapland, but the natives are insane .

I've been once to a place where they have recurrent snowfalls... I rather stay within the tropics instead of longing for some warmth... Over here, if I want to be at a warmer place, I only have to move a kilometer down.

where I live now, you might see an inch of snow that'll stick around for a few hours - and that's all she wrote. the place pretty much shuts down as nobody is used to driving in it.

right now it's peasoup fog and around freezing at gone midnight.
