Most of those photographs are stunning due to the sky lights. I have to admit that nothing a human can do could match what Mother Nature does. As you know, I changed my Farcebook profile header to show the sunrise here in Missouri. It can be stunning. But, not as stunning as that bathing beauty in the water surrounded by ice.

It may be beautiful in Lapland, but the natives are insane .

I've been once to a place where they have recurrent snowfalls... I rather stay within the tropics instead of longing for some warmth... Over here, if I want to be at a warmer place, I only have to move a kilometer down.

where I live now, you might see an inch of snow that'll stick around for a few hours - and that's all she wrote. the place pretty much shuts down as nobody is used to driving in it.

right now it's peasoup fog and around freezing at gone midnight.
