THE TAO OF NOW @InTheNoosphere

Aging gives you some creative space, because to the culture, you’re becoming irrelevant—and as soon as you become irrelevant, you’re free. You’re free to be eccentric, to express yourself in ways you wouldn’t before. Aging gives you a chance to rethink your identity.

I've already been through that stage of being eccentric in my old age.
Now I'm just fighting to breathe another day, and it is getting harder each day.
But I sure had phun getting here, hi hi.

Perhaps you will remember OTIS from The Andy Griffith Show in Mayberry.

My comment to the above comes from those "All Right OK" spoken like a drunk, hi hi.

Drinking more than 42 cups of coffee in one sitting can kill you. This is due to the caffeine overdose.

FWIW Yogi - There is a HUGE difference between the Caffeine in Coffee and Tea, than in the plain Caffeine put in most soda pops. The Caffeine in coffee and tea is greatly enhanced by the Tannin. 30 mg of the Caffeine/Tannin blend is more like 300 mg of caffeine in a soda pop. Coffee is like caffeine on steroids, which is why it is called a Speed Drug, hi hi.
I drink Diet Rite Pure ZERO, no caffeine, no sugar, no Aspartame, no Saccharine, basically only colored water with a cola flavor and some CO2 to make it bubbly.
I preferred PepsiONE, but they quit making it. So I switched to Yellow Cap Diet Coke, and they quit making it.
So I switched to Diet RC and it turned out to be the best of them all, and didn't have ACE-K in it either.
But, they quit making it too, so that only leaves Diet Rite Pure ZERO as the only cola drink left, and since I drink it, they may discontinue it too, hi hi.

Tomatoes are the most patriotic plant. Because botanically, tomatoes are a fruit. But according to an 1893 Supreme Court ruling, they're a vegetable. And there's nothing more American than a legal decision that disagrees with science.

Actually, Botanically, a Tomato is a Berry!
So is a Banana, Watermelon, Cucumber, etc.
Strawberries are NOT a berry, and actually not really a fruit either, hi hi.
The Supreme Court only ruled Tomatoes as a Vegetable for the purpose of Customs Classifications.
Also the tax on vegetables was a lower tax rate than on fruits, so this was a boon to importers.

Human skin doesn't actually sense 'wetness,' we only sense temperature and pressure

Our concept of wetness is more of a “perceptual illusion” that our brain creates based on our prior experiences with stimuli that we have learned are wet
