You're sounding about 70, Watson! No, I take that back. I've met some 70+ year olds at festivals, and they were full of life and enjoying themselves.

I can't get into her music enough to call her "brilliant". As an oldie, coming up to 40 in a few year's time, I know that her voice's OK, but I just don't like the type of slush she sings. I'm sure she had many adoring fans there though.

I love her attitude,
she's just being herself and not like some pompous twit from the Voice..

I grant you that. I have nothing against the woman at all. I just don't care for her style of music, but if she produces one which I like, I'll say so.

I like 'Rolling in the deep'
but a lot of what I've heard is sombre..

It is, T. That's why I'm not keen on the style. It's all broken heart stuff - which'd be fine if the tune was more melodic.

she's got a potty mouth,
she reminds me of a female colleague here she F's and Blinds at will!

The thing is, I think the art's in knowing where you CAN swear like that, and where it sounds all wrong. If your colleague thinks that the rest of you don't mind her swearing, then she'll carry on. I don't think it's brilliant for males OR females to repeatedly swear, and although it's just words, using "f" ones in front of kids is out, as far as I'm concerned. I also wouldn't direct it at my parents - or anyone else's parents - because of my upbringing I suppose. I was brought up to show respect for other people.

Yes, there's an "OK" version of it, and a NOT OK. As I said, it depends on whose company you're in, and whether that person/people'd find it acceptable or not.

I once had great fun trying on an array of wigs which a friend of mine keeps for fancy-dress parties and so on. I loved some of them. She has a bright purple one which I like. : )
