I'm going off the cr*p stuff more and more. It's over-priced grape juice, but I suppose you could also say that about champagnes.

LOOOOOOL!!!!!! Do you know what, I first had a glass of that about 5 years ago - and found it quite pleasant!! Mwhahahaha!!! Never had one since!

Had to check it out, and it's a grape and citrus wine with added artificial flavours. Yeuck! Must be those you can taste!

You can still buy the stuff. I don't know when it seemed to go out of general circulation, but you can get it from specialised wine shops. BH - I wonder who orders it in? Gross.

I've got another one that's ghastly as well - Special Brew!!! We have about 20 cans of the disgusting stuff in the cellar!

The first (and last) time I tried it, I had some old friends round for a party. I was very glad that they were there, because unfortunately, it was looking like being a stuffy affair.

I was only about 20, and we decided to get trollied. I went to see what drinks I could find, thaty we could mix up for a quick effect!

Found a load of these Spcial Brew cans, and took them upstairs to ask if they'd be powerful enough. Someone said they tasted like barley wine, which I had no idea about either. I poured a bit of this brew into a glass, and almost choked to death on the putrid stuff! So someone said it'd taste better with whisky added. I'm not a fan of that either, although I can drink Grouse with some ginger added to it, so we added a shot or two of whisky to each glass of SB. I didn't even reach the end of it before I felt incredibly drunk. One guy drank 3, pretty quickly, and slid down the wall! We were laughing our socks off, and people started behaving in a peculiar manner. One mooned over the embers of our barbecue and burnt his bits and pieces! OMG. Someone else stripped off and ran off round the lawn. Think they fell down somewhere and went to sleep!! The drink sure produced some strange effects. I've never had any since.
