Don't be silly, T. Finding someone to go with isn't always easy, particularly if it isn't a mainstream artist that everyone likes. Caro's music wouldn't suit everybody, although I love it, but you seem to like the idea of going to various gigs, and then don't bother.

well I went to the F.A cup final at Wembley last week and although we lost it was a wonderful day ,
The Palace fans were so loud and the stadium is breath taking..

I'm glad you got to the match, whatever, and sorry Palace lost, but as you say, it's just the fun of going to a game, isn't it?

It's just that you're pretty knowledgeable about music, so it'd just make sense to me that you went to more gigs than you do.

I've hardly seen any tribute bands, and the only ones I recall off-hand were the Australian Pink Floyd. The first half of their show was a bit weak. The second half - superb! They got a standing ovation from Floyd fans.

No, they WERE good, honestly. The reproduction of sound was excellent, especially during Comfortably Numb.

I know that Floyd used backing tapes for some of their live shows, as the sounds couldn't always be reproduced like the studio versions, but The APF got it just about spot on. They deserved the final huge applause.

So what tribute bands have YOU seen then? A friend's brother used to be Abba mad, apparently, and he's seen their tribute band lots of times now. I think it's a bit sad. He knows all the lyrics to all of their songs, and has them all on tape, records and CDs.
