I want some to find the time to listen to Dead by April a bit more. Some of their songs're just a screech, but I picked out 6 or 7 which I found to be really good.

Thanks. I know that one. It starts off as a screecher, but then mellows in between.

I think that some of their lyrics're brilliant - written straight from the heart and very emotional. Usually I just like something with a good bass riff which makes me want to dance, but those guys touched me. It takes quite a lot to do that. Maybe Nightwish're the only ones to've done that before.

Dead by April is a Swedish Metal band from Gothenburg, formed in February 2007 by Pontus Hjelm and Jimmie Strimell . The current band lineup consists of Hjelm (vocals/guitar/keys), Christoffer "Stoffe" Andersson (screamed vocals), Marcus Wesslén (bass) and Marcus Rosell (drums). They released their self-titled debut album in May 2009. Despite many line up changes throughout their career, both bassist Marcus Wesslén and lead guitarist/current clean vocalist Pontus Hjelm have remained consistent since their debut album.

you do like your Scandinavian bands 007!

I honestly didn't know, T!!!! Well good grief! That answers a lot then. The Swedes're notoriously "deep" or melancholy, but a lot of their music's fab.

I like one or two of their songs. Can't say as I've heard them all, but I know someone who loves their stuff. He knows everything about the group, and all the words to their songs. He even has a "thing" for Agnetha Faltskog that stems from the first time he saw her on TV!! Good grief.
