Thanks for that but life experience has told me if someone is about to lose their rag!

It's not just for things like that. You can tell an honest or sincere person from their facial expressions.

Good grief! Never heard of them before, OR the song! Not too bad though.

No, I can't explain the art of understanding body language, expressions or the reading of facial attributes Watson. I learnt by looking at people and listening to them. Then you start to notice similarities between different people, and you just learn.

Not at all, but our mother used to tell us to watch folk. We soon learned when someone gave a false smile; there was nothing in their eyes. You also look at how folk react to others, and if they're attentive or not. All those sort of things.

i think we've been too open in our Family,
we are insular these days...regarding strangers..

Yes, strangers aren't tolerated too well in our household either, but they don't have to be from foreign isles - I mean ANY strangers. People maybe stop becoming strangers after 20 years or so .... if my OH likes them! I'm different. I talk to all sorts of folk.

I do. I've spoken to complete strangers in queues, started rattling while I'm shopping, got into conversation with strangers on planes and trains ...... the list goes on.
