You're right, but I don't think of it in terms of religious duty any more. I do things from the heart, which help people. I don't want any thanks, and I'm not consciously trying to be righteous.

the Winters up there must be beautiful but quite bleak too,
I love the idea of no hum of traffic and you can hear the natural sounds of the country side..

Sometimes you can hear bugger - all, except for the howling wind. : (

It IS bleak in winter, but nothingness has a beauty all of its own. Took some getting used to though!
