Sorry you see it like that. I enjoy having our kids around because I like family life. When the time comes that it'll be just me and my OH, we'll have to discover each other all over again. You can lose sight of being a carefree couple when a family arrives, but that was our choice. If I could go back in time, I'd do it all again, and definitely want my children there.

Of course. Yours're older than mine, so they're bound to be, but you know, whatever age our kids get to, they're still our kids, and we still invite our eldest along to things with the rest of us, whether he chooses to go or not.

Nope. Show respect to your kids, and in front of them, and they learn from it. My father's always been respectful to my mum, and vice versa, so our own kids've seen this as well.
