The one good thing, is that at festival sites now, you get first aid tents and ambulances're on stand by. They also have disabled facilities for those who need them.

Generally speaking, yes, because the folk who apply for licences for food stalls are checked out that they have hygiene certificates, etc., but as the day wears on, and with burgers and other stuff hanging about, you can never really say. I've never been poisoned though, and don't know anyone else who has.

I've never seen Indian food served up at festivals.

I like SOME of it, but not all. I'm not keen on extremely hot things.

I know - I've been - but didn't see any Indian stuff when I went.

I don't like tandooris. They could serve up stewed rat under all that red spice and you wouldn't know!

Who is? Me?

Not at all sir. When I'm poorly, I really am. I don't imagine or exaggerate health issues. They can be serious.

Yes, but it's true - and the Chinese eat rats anyway, so why shouldn't some Indians? You have no idea what goes into their mixtures, especially when they're highly spiced and that's all you can taste - the heat.

I've tried some iffy ones. Not in a hurry to sample anything else which I'm not too sure about, but then ... when it's highly curried ... how can you be sure about anything?
