He is one if the few I actually liked to see perform. He was three years younger than me, but live three times the life (at least). Rest in Peace young man.

That one seems to stick out. It was his first record after Space Odyssey.

Thank you!

Didn't Bowie come from, or grow up in Beckenham? That'd be classed as Kent back in the day, wouldn't it?

Nice to see a decent beer advertised on the pub!!

Is it? They keep changing boundaries, so I never know. When my father was working in a place in Enfield, it was Middlesex I think, but don't think it is now.

Difficult to say. A lot of places're beautiful, from north to south. I think Derbyshire's lovely, but again, not all of it is. It's fabulous around the Cotswolds and New Forest areas, but it covers quite a distance, and you get the good and the bad. Suppose it depends on what you view as being nice, no pun intended. : )

Yes, I was deeply saddened about David Bowie passing away too.
I enjoyed most of his songs as well.
Such as Space Oddity, China Girl, Ashes to Ashes, Let's dance, and many more which I can't recall atm.
A true legend indeed he was, and to die at 69 which I think isn't very old at all. Very very sad.
I read in a newspaper that there's been a big demand for his music since his death. I'm not at all surprised by that.
He really was a Star man....
I don't know which is my favourite David B song is, as they're all so good.
RIP David

He also performed some rubbish on his last- but- one album, but on his latest one, he was getting back towards the music that I think fans appreciate.
