I used to live less than 5 minutes from a Krispy Kreme shop. I did try their doughnuts once. All I recall about them is that they were not crispy nor creamy. LOL

There seems to be two kinds of doughnuts. Those that are fried, light, and airy. The other kind is more cake-like and may have other toppings besides a sugar glaze. If I were a doughnut eater, I'd prefer the latter.

It's probably just personal taste, but chocolate seems to go better with coffee.
I had ginger tea the other night. It was outstanding.
