Is it me or has guitar technology improved since Eddie Cochran sang that song?

technology in general has improved but those guitars in the 50's, Gretsch,Ibanez,Fender,Gibson are still top of the range and like you Dennis improve with age!

Way back in my teenage days LP vinyl record albums were the popular music medium of the day. I had a couple of Ms Washington's

Vinyl is becoming popular again which is my favourite but records take up so much space...

The flaw with vinyl is that it wears out and gets scratchy. Digital music doesn't wear, but some aficionados say it doesn't reproduce the instrument sounds perfectly.

I still prefer vinyl though...
I recently purchased a Bob Dylan album..
'The times are a changing' from 1964
for 75pence in a charity shop in excellent condition....result dudes...
plus Kraftwerk's 'Autobahn' album 1974 again in excellent condition for a mere 50 pence..

Excellent discoveries
Dylan received a Nobel Prize recently. That was very impressive as well.

I guess there are better things to do than to accept your Nobel Prize - I just can't think of what they are right now.

Bob is very low key and probably has so many awards another one is of not much importance...

I laughed to myself when i read the news about his delay in getting the award. He probably did figure it's just another trophy for his collection. One must become jaded when they are so successful.
