I'd sooner say that "We can work it out" (which I tried to search to listen to, but couldn't find!) might've run its course now. If two people, in whatever situation, can't find a middle road to work from, then there's no point in hankering after hope of a change. It's rare that folk do.

No WAY Henry. I'd never waste my time on someone. I'd give them ALL my time, and then a bit more if things went wrong, but I also believe in getting on with life if something doesn't work.

Nothing ever is, but there comes a time when people have to decide what they really want from life. Out with the old, and in with the new. It's good to look into the future with a fresh soul.

It's hard in that situation isn't it, but kids pick up on things fast. They'd rather see 2 happy parents, albeit leading their own lives, than listen to any arguments.
