You have the newer version of the Chocolate Factory now, but the old one still crops up now and again.

Having seen them both, I found the later one quite sinister. It was well done though.

The second one was tailored for a slightly different audience. The effects were better for a start.

How can you watch a film over and over again, T? A couple of times, maybe .... or if there's a long gap in between viewings.

I firsst saw that as a little boy ...and was totaly flummmoxed by it ...
now older and more intelligent I see Mel Brook's and the wonderful performances of the actors humour come sparkling through , anyone taking the piss out of the Nazis has to be a good thing..

Ordinary Brits made a very good job of that during WW2. Their bawdy ballads continue to this day, and when radio broadcasts were made, supposedly to strike terror into the hearts of folk, people laughed at them and they had little effect.
