nice one lads...
I've got sweat breaking out
But I try, try to conseal
I've got a savage root
And it's a growing pain
Feelings pushing through
Pushing through, through
Through, through, through you
And I found myself in the hothouse
I found myself in the hothouse
Spend too long looking in
Looking in from the outside
Now it's time to give in
Time to get inside
Feeling's pushing through
Pushing through, through
Through, through, through you
I found myself in the hothouse
I found myself in the hothouse

Re: The Sound
I saw them in 1982 at Hammersmith Palais...
What about it?
The singer was manic depressive and through himself under a tube train ,
he was only 41...a real loss...

Re: The Sound
Nothing "about it"Watson! I was just asking if you used to dance away to their music!
Re: The Sound
I don't like the SOUND of that...
chortle...

Re: The Sound
Today there's a good wind blowing things about, but it's still very warm (for here anyway) - about 21 degrees.
Re: The Sound
Aye lad, it looks like it! : )
Well I've read that a heatwave from Spain's going to come and scorch your part of the country in a few days' time. It won't reach us though, although it should remain quite warm.

Re: The Sound
Indeed, but no one can moan about us never having any summer. Up here, all the heat's been a rarity, but once the temperatures start to plunge, they don't just go down by a degree at a time; it's like by 10 degrees or more! No wonder everyone ends up with a cold or a bug.
Re: The Sound
A bit of rain does me fine and I prefer coolness to heat...
Re: The Sound
Me too, and I don't mind rain so long as it's warm with it.
Thinking about any deluge to come, I'm going to build my hedgehog/s a substantial home later on today, using wood from the pile that's chopped. All the food I put out last night was eaten, and I think it was a hedgehog who took it, because a lovely half-grown one was sitting on the lawn when I went out to look. : )

Re: The Sound

Re: The Sound
Same here. Then about 4 years ago, we stopped seeing them. One of our dogs unfortunately killed 2 babies, which really upset me, but then, out of the blue, I saw a big fat one in the garden 2-3 weeks ago. I saw it again last weekend, and then what looked like a younger one yesterday. Fabulous.
Re: The Sound
I would think you would see more in your parts, much more..
I wonder where they have gone?
But it is habitat fragmentation that gets the experts really worried. This happens when, for example, a green space is cut in two by a road. gee..

Re: The Sound
It does. Swathes of concrete and buildings being put up wrecks the habitats, so all animal life, including insects and birds have to retreat further and further away to find pastures new - if they can. Some die out because of it, or, like hedgehogs, become endangered.
Re: The Sound
for goodness sake ..
why do humans F up so much?
