It is, I agree with you, but without them, many of us wouldn't be able to get from A to B, go to work, get home, blah blah.

Nothing stopped YOU from moving there if you so wanted to. But then .... you might've needed to travel to work, and might've needed a car ..... : )

Too right. Mind you, I got a beautiful discount when I went down to London to meet Vikks. A return ticket cost me just over £40 (I forget the exact amount) and that was 1st class. Free drinks and biscuits all the way. : )

Good one, wasn't it? My son got a bargain when he was down there recently as well. If you book tickets in advance, you can get some really good deals, but this doesn't seem to apply to daily commute tickets.
