Speaking of names ....

Post by Icey »

Vikki's post reminded me of how names for dogs seem to've changed over the years. In my grandma's day, they had Spot, Buster, Fido and the like. Then came human names when my mum had dogs - Mick, Lassie, Trixie, Monty. Now they seem to have even MORE humanised names - Molly, Zak, Rosie, Jack, Sally - plus names which can be used as sur-names - Harrison, Clarkson and the like. Wonder what the next few generations're going to be called?

Yes, I like Lucy as well. It's one of those names which never seems to go out of fashion, whether for a person or an animal.

*Gumbo, Jewelly, Sillius Soddus????? Tomsk, I'm really tempted here ...... : )
