i sadly agree, but in the end it would be ever so easy with some attitude adjustments from when kids are still young. or am i just naive?

I think it boils down to instinct. As long as there is more than one person in the world, there will be competition. And, somebody will always escalate it.

Good question. To boil the complex answer down to something simple, there are no good or bad instincts. It all boils down to the primal instincts to survive.

true enough, but why then do have so many suicides and at other end people who prefer to do others in - without the slightest threat to themselves? :think:

The threat in those cases is internal. The only way to kill the demon within is to kill the host.
