On Being A Conservative

Post by yogi » 27 May 2017, 19:49

It can be argued that the conservative political agenda is embraced by the Republican Party. Given that Donald Trump chose to run for office under the Republican banner, it would be reasonable to expect that he be the quintessential model of conservatism. He is not, and the article cited presents the arguments thereto. I personally have brought up the idea of cognitive dissonance to explain the support President Trump enjoys. Apparently I'm not the only one to have noticed.
