Way back in 2012 an incident occurred in Newton Connecticut where 20-year-old Adam Lanza fatally shot 20 children. We were all shocked by the horror of it all. A little more than 4 years later it's being called out as a conspiracy on the part of Democrats in order to promote gun control legislation. There are real people in America who believe in that particular conspiracy theory. Some of them are elected officials. The linked article will take some time to read, but it provides an in depth insight into how "alternate truths" are now dominating the thoughts of otherwise sane people. This is not normal.
