The leadership of this country has taken on a full fascist dictatorial character. Violating established rules of diplomacy and protocol have become the norm. As the current president is fond of saying, "There is a new sheriff in town. The rules are different now." Indeed, that is the reality.

The America I lived in up to last November no longer exists. The global respect we once enjoyed will be a long time returning. We are still learning about our ultimate fate, and the incident with Bondevik is just the beginning. There is already talk of inevitable war, and this time it's not going to be on foreign soil. I don't think I'm being overly pessimistic here. It's global and Brexit is another example of the radical changes in governance taking place these days. The new world order is just beginning to be formed. Mr Trump and his elite cabinet of advisors cannot be stopped from Making America Great Again.
