In this day and age, you probably won't find it shocking to learn that a policeman recently shot and killed a 6 year old autistic child. The policeman was arrested after authorities viewed the body cam footage and now the officer is asking the judge to dismiss the charged on grounds that he and his partner felt threatened and used lethal force in self defense. SELF DEFENSE  :xclaim:

What is wrong with these people who call themselves cops??? The one who killed the child and injured his father should be jailed for years. It's disgusting.

Law enforcement agents should know where to draw the line, and in my book, you do NOT shoot a child who's strapped into a seat. I don't know how the officer and his colleague felt threatened, but they obviously didn't use the right approach to get the occupants out of their vehicle so that checks could be made - for firearms or whatever. Even then, because firearms can be carried in places over there, even if one was spotted, surely the legality of it should've been checked out properly. Was the boy waving a weapon at the cops? Were threats being issued, which made the officers so frightened that they killed him and shot his father? Appalling.
