actually, come to think of it, in Scandinavia and Finland many ancient god names are in use as most people don't remember their origins. I have one that has something to do with the Swedish boss god, although my father wasn't even aware of it.

How about Athena? She was the goddess of wisdom and the half-sister of Hercules. The name's used to this day.

squeaks has an Isis and an Artemis in her class.

Fabulous! I love the name Isis. Pity it has such vile connections in this present day. : (
