and how's this for logic:

Paramedics said a man and woman were rushed to hospital without vital signs and both succumbed to their injuries in hospital.

if you have no vital signs, changes are you've already succumbed before you ever got near the hospital. and the vehicle seen driving southbound?

good grief, what a total cluster!
