WE are getting warnings here in Knoxville that the storm is not going to break up after landfall.
They expect we will see heavy rains and high winds and to prepare for it.
Even people who are coming this far inland are saying they expect it to hit hard here too.

Sunday's forecast is for 40% chance of scattered showers. Nothing unusual happening before or after that. We got more than that from the last hurricane, Gordon.

Seems they now changed their mind again, and downgraded to CAT 1, which means we won't see anything here except a little rain and not more than normal wind.

I'm very glad the storm calmed down more than they expected. The coast was getting battered yesterday and I haven't yet had time to check the news today. CAT-1 sounds manageable. Hopefully FEMA won't have to get very involved with this storm.

It's partly cloudy here, wind about 10mph with no gusts, no rain.
Looks like it won't make it this far as first predicted.

If FEMA does send stuff, it will probably be blocked and parked somewhere until it rots like in Puerto Rico.

Flo was quite a show on her motorcycle at Trout's. But, I hardly ever recall her being nasty and destructive. Then again, you never knew what those evildoers were doing behind the scenes.

They don't make 'em like they used to. That's for sure.
