bangkok foods

Post by pilvikki »

watched an episode of master chef uk (i think it was?) and in it they had a bit about street food. now, im not an enthusiast of this kind of cuisine, but the reporter was ever so! apparently it is fresh, cheap to the point where people skip the cooking and simply eat out. or in, as it's also take out.

in fact, some of the new apartment buildings lack kitchens.

yes, you read that right!

Street food is quite common in most of developing world and offers quite a variety. I have seen it personally.

I've seen the 'street food' in some of the cooking shows I watch on television. It does indeed seem popular everywhere except in the temperate and above weather zones. Most of what I've seen, however, is unrecognizable to my American eyes. Some of it is still moving in fact. I would shop the open street markets and prepare the food on my own more. Nothing is better than a farmers market IMHO.
