a mini cold...

that was odd, got this cold, which i mostly slept away over two days.. just have a bit of a cough and a raspy voice left.

am i being too optimistic thinking that was it?

If it comes and goes in 48 hours, it's probably nothing unusual. If it keeps recurring, then you might want to look into it deeper. I personally can't nap during daylight unless I'm hospital-grade sick. So I just suffer with cold symptoms while I sit here and type.

i used to be like that, but my sleep is so ragged now that i do drop off in late afternoon if i've been up most of the night. or sick.

I'm sleeping lighter and less as I get older. That seems so counter intuitive, but it happens to a lot of people.
