Re: Bladerunner 2049
Oddly enough, there is no movie house in this town. I don't miss it because I never go to the cinema. I'd have to travel some distance to the next town east to enjoy a cinema presentation.
Re: Bladerunner 2049
really?
What was the last film you saw at the cinema Dennis?

Re: Bladerunner 2049
Pirates of the Caribbean. It's the only Johnny Depp movie I ever saw.
Re: Bladerunner 2049

I seldom go these days..
This a must see on the big screen though... I may go next week...

Re: Bladerunner 2049
Before the JD movie, I believe it was the movie called Chicago that I saw. I recall sitting up close to the screen and being overwhelmed by the dance productions. That was when I started to experience high frequency hearing loss. The sound was so loud that it damaged my ears.
Re: Bladerunner 2049
Oh my goodness....
you should've moved at the back...
sorry to hear that..

Re: Bladerunner 2049
I doubt that moving back would have helped much. The theater room was in a multiplex of cinemas and small. If I would have known how loud it would be, I would have used ear plugs.
Re: Bladerunner 2049
Dennis should've left the building... UHUH..
Re: Bladerunner 2049
Truth is I would have if it were not for the fact that we were with another couple. It would have been an embarrassment to walk out.
Re: Bladerunner 2049
No it wouldn't, your health is more important than some dumb film and real friends would know this...
I've only walked out on a film once and that was Miami Vice...what a pile of crap that was...

Re: Bladerunner 2049
The quality of the movie was great, plus it was about a landmark I grew up with and visited many times. Aside from the extreme loudness I didn't realize it was damaging. After I read up on it, the process still doesn't make sense. But, I'm living proof it happens.
