indeed.

i used to have a family tree listing the lot back to 1556 when a swede was mailed by the swedish king to eastern finland and he stayed, married a finnish woman and started our - cough - our dynasty. :lol: :lol: . it's all put together with not just a list of names, but all kinds of court documents and well, father's lot was quite colourful... :mrgreen:

i'm thinking of ordering the updated version, but worry about it being as thick as the bible by now...

oh, btw. until sometime late in the 1600s, girls did not rate to be listed at all in the birth records. how rude!

I've heard that bit about females being non-entities, as well as certain unacceptable births. Interracial or inter-religion births were not recognized or recorded even though the people they produced continued on.

You are so right about quality. Back then, animation artists did all the work. Today it's computers and automation. The lack of quality shows.

Disney productions were labor intensive. It showed in the quality of their product. When Walt died, so did the quality of the studio.
