actually, that's an interesting observation; the fingers going off on their own... i often have to remove the D from AN, where it "just appeared" and i do hunt and peck, so have no assigned letters to each finger. which means i should NOT automatically end up with an and instead of an an.

other weird typos, women/womand < see! i did it again! and than/then....

It's like Pavlov's dog. Conditioned reflexes. You type at a level of consciousness where you don't have to think about what you are doing. You learned that a 'd' always follows 'an' and that's the way it goes when you don't give it some conscious thought.
