she's one of the boss goddesses, k? however, in the meme world you have to have something misspelled or left out. in this case, it should have read Goddess, not god.

she's the cat goddess and cat's looove boxes, so it's an assumption she does, too.

The picture is of an ancient Egyptian goddess who went by the name Bastet. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bastet

Thus calling Bastet a god is erroneous. But that's OK because the point of the picture is humorous. The humor is not so much in the wrong gender reference as it is depicting Bastet distracted by a box, which she immediately crawls into as would any pedigreed cat.

So ... while Bastet might be the equivalent of a venerable Catholic saint, she is shown to give into her feline animal instincts. Would a true goddess do such a thing? Of course not, and thus the humor.

Clear as mud, right?
