:bs: It certainly is cow poo poo, especially if you happen to know that the real Federal Reserve Bank of New York does not have a corporate office nor does it deal with personal/individual transactions. It's laughable when something like this is received, but 99.9% of us know to simply delete this kind of e-mail without further ado. It's always amazing how the remaining .1% is enough to make this scam profitable.

this REALLY singed my tail feathers:

yep, first i'm told I've fulfilled all obligations and then that 'those' Bank officials are thieves and then I need to fill in everything but my shoe size! so, what obligations did I fulfill previously; breathing and possession of an email address?

It's from an outfit called .gownscary.us

Looking into their origins over at http://gownscary.us.geolocation.iplanet ... mSearchTop gives the following report
Location information for gownscary.us

Saint Petersburg, St.-Petersburg
Russia (RU)

Longitude : 30.2642 - Latitude : 59.8944
Obviously one of those companies our new president has an interest in.
