I saw it on Facebook and thought she looked about 25 years older than she actually is. Maybe it's the makeup?

she got that indented tooth from whacking it onto a bed frame petty hard when it was still new...

I wasn't sure if she was wearing lipstick or not. Regardless her face looks a bit older than I know her to be. Interesting effect.

Being an only child, it's hard for me to understand sibling rivalry. I hear so many stories about brothers and sisters going out of their way to dislike each other. Then, too, the majority get along for a lifetime. Twelve seems to be a point of critical mass, not a kid any more but still not into puberty. That's one nice thing about old age. I don't have to deal with an identity crisis anymore.
