I used to think smart kids missed out on half the fun of growing up. They were always reading or studying something.

now they're missing out on stuff staring at their phones! it drives me nuts....

At least with the texting, kids are in contact with their peers and not studying esoteric things like math and science.

unless they're playing stupid games and not interacting with anyone. saxon just got banned from the computer as he's gotten addicted to some idiotic war/spy/something game.

There is a lot of truth to the idea that digital games are addictive. That's one reason Facebook is so popular.

i used to play gradon city, but it soon became pointless. i did like the dragons though and sometimes 'visit' them for a chuckle.

I used to like pacman and space invaders but using them was a limited treat not a pastime...

I prefer intelligence to wit, but your -ex is right. Sarcasm usually is used as a pejorative. I like to leave them wondering if they have been honored or insulted.
