Now I know how my parents felt..
For me parenting is getting harder as our three grow older....
but ...we love 'em really...

I used to think smart kids missed out on half the fun of growing up. They were always reading or studying something.

At least with the texting, kids are in contact with their peers and not studying esoteric things like math and science.

unless they're playing stupid games and not interacting with anyone. saxon just got banned from the computer as he's gotten addicted to some idiotic war/spy/something game.

i used to play gradon city, but it soon became pointless. i did like the dragons though and sometimes 'visit' them for a chuckle.

I used to like pacman and space invaders but using them was a limited treat not a pastime...

esoteric? good word Yogi..intended for or likely to be understood by only a small number of people with a specialized knowledge or interest.

I prefer intelligence to wit, but your -ex is right. Sarcasm usually is used as a pejorative. I like to leave them wondering if they have been honored or insulted. :wink:
