The Titanic was an engineering problem. Giving numbers to flights on certain numbered days of the month has nothing to to with engineering, or reality for that matter.

there was a fire below deck which weakened the whole structure according to recent news.

they say that's why the towers collapsed on 9/11. The internal heat was so intense it melted the iron support beams.

this 13 bit is so funny in my opinion; i once lived months on the 14th floor in canada, before realizing that the elevator panel skipped the 13th... i think that's why they line up the numbers in columns, which would make it less obvious?

I heard about triskaidekaphobia but never actually thought people did it.
