See how tiny Mercury is (radius: 1,516 miles) compared to the Sun (radius: 432,288 mi). In spite of it's small size it can be seen when it crosses over our local star. I'm not only impressed at Mercury's size, but also impressed with how non violent is the fire on the sun's surface. Amazing stuff.

Look at that little Mercury go! I read that it was accelerated by the gravity field of Venus, but thanks for that Yogi.
