Apparently Zeolite is a class of mineral. Wikipedia claims there are 242 known kinds but thousands more possible. One reference is to those packets you toss into boxes of stuff to absorb the moisture. The contents of the packages is Zeolie of one kind or another. They also claim you can heat up this kind of zeolite and steam will be produced. That must be useful for something. LOL

Now that I didn't know.
But those little packets that come with electronics and a few other things are Silica Gel.
I guess that could be a form of Zeolite?

I guess the answer to your question would be, yes. It was an interesting read for what I could understand about it. Here's the link if you are interested: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeolite
