I didn't know about the museum, but Pirate Bay is infamous. It's probably the largest single source of malware and virus distribution on the planet. The inventors didn't intend it to be that way, but hackers added their payload to many of the shared files unbeknownst to the operators. Then again, a lot of people are unaffected. It's an interesting site, but one of those you want to avoid at all costs.
I still remember owning numerous clean files, that if you searched the web for those files under their original name, every one available on-line was now a virus or malware. This of course hurt the business of those who were writing and selling the popular original programs and they slowly faded away. Sad really!
