As if 2016 hasn't been crazy enough, guess what Microsoft just did. They joined The Linux Foundation at the Platinum level ($500,000 dues) and have a member on it's board. :thud: ... um-member/

What are they NOT saying, Between The Lines?

Mickey$oft has been using Open Source and embedding it in their Proprietary Software for years.
They seem to find little loopholes which to date they have got by with all too often.

If they truly are turning over a new leaf, it would be awesome.

It could also be so they have more access to services and programming outside the desktop arena, where Linux dominates most of the world market.

I don't trust them myself! Seems they are just trying to get a foot in the door to gain access to Linux services.
But I won't judge until I see them actually contributing something useful to the Open Source community.
