Re: robo puppy

I love the Roomba vacuum cleaner! no bending. and yes, if it only knew how to empty itself.

Re: Another child murder

I don't really give flying duck about the insane/sane issue, those people need to be removed and permanently held apart from the rest of us. ESPECIALLY pedophiles and child murderers, as kids are such an easy target. "temporary insanity" has been trotted up in cases where some extreme trauma/drama ...

Re: did it again...

oh no, we're no longer talking blond anything, it's gone to a definite mousy shade of blah. I used to bleach it once a year, late winter when there wasn't much sun getting to it, but now I should do it every couple of months at least. I finally found a great treatment that doesn't burn your eyeball...

talking with some women about hair and they were bemoaning theirs being so hard to maintain some colour in. do I dye mine? oh yes, I explain sincerely, my hair's turned this nasty dark nothing colour that makes my face look sallow. so I have to lighten it every so often... and I bend down so they c...

Re: Trans-Eurasian belt Development (TEPR)

I love people arguing over their right-of-way... on a bike or walking, or car versus truck versus train.... irrelevant! the bigger vehicles wins, no matter what the rules and it won't do you much good since there are no degrees of dead. and all that seems impossible to explain to so many kids playi...

Nutella contains 70% saturated fat and processed sugar by weight. A two-tablespoon (37 gram) serving of Nutella contains 200 calories including 99 calories from 11 grams of fat (3.5g of which are saturated) and 80 calories from 21 grams of sugar. The spread also contains 15 mg of sodium and 2g of p...

Re: this famous french cuisine....

I actually like nutella, but am still peeved about the fraudulent advertising it as healthy alternative to peanut butter. I carry a grudge a long time when it comes to kids' health, so I won't be eating it in a hurry.

the crepes here are the size of a medium pizza, so maybe a ½ for you...? :)

ramsey once called a finnish dish "shit" and it definitely looks like it - and the taste is a bit unusual, but that's still pretty ignorant behaviour where I come from. so... we come to the culinary mecca of the world, france... and have ran into the worst meals/foods we've ever met! here's a few n...

that's just plain stupid! I suggest you tell them, before some old person gets punctured in the process of removing a pill.... I put mine into an organizer, so the nicely printed days of the week are a total waste of effort, but thanks for the thought. now, if i'd remember what day of the week i'm d...

Re: the doctor visit.

such a difference here... first off, the doc is his own secretary. seeing it was 7.30 at night, I was to call for a specialist appointment for squeaki the next day, but if I had a problem, to ring him and he'll make the appointment. so I asked fred to call when she was in, but the doctor requested ...

the doctor visit.

normally the evening appointments are dealt with fairly quickly, but last night was a doozy! one time I had an early, 6 pm, appointment and showed up early. I was out before my allotted time, so I thought i'd try it again. to my absolute horror I saw 5 cars in the parking lot. what.....? oh well, n...

lol! as an introvert I have great difficulties with the "leading into a conversation" bit. not to mention the "hi! how are you?" "axe handle" effect. what? sorry. well, this was cautionary tale of my youth, so annoying that it's stuck with me for the 60 years since I was told that....

but if you look at the cases, so many of them happened years ago. most of the catholic priests and boarding school cases in Canada and the states had happened decades ago, it just wasn't talked about.

so, we really don't know what happened then. just that there way too many around now...

when saxon was about 3 we were painting our nails one day and he wanted blue on his toenails. fine, he got blue. then punkin came home and he very imperiously prompted her to check out his toes. it was hilarious! while he was wearing his 'girly' nail polish, there was nothing 'girly' about his pomp...

those are from the 80s, I believe. in another Stockholm 70-80s burb they had to paint the buildings, because kids couldn't find there way home!

they chose muddy green, mustard yellow, burnt orange.

well, there are more than twice as many people since I was born. if there are on average between 7-10% of population born homosexuals, there must be a load of "others" as well. if you never think about the numbers, do a quick calculation of how many homosexuals we have in the population of 7 bil. an...
