interesting addiction. I can't stay put that long... I once remarked that they'd finally hired a black girl on the line at work, and my co-worker looked at me and burst out "that's linda, you dingbat! she just came back from florida!" really...? she'd gone from fishbelly white to yamaican...

she's considering it. when we did a few trips close together, she started to relax, but now it's been a year so she's all wound up again. and it's a long flight to canuck land.

I wonder what would happen around here if we got a good snowstorm? 2 winters ago we had 2" of wet slop on the ground - and the school was empty except for the few who lived within walking distance. and the Canadians.

ran into another article, this time Guatemala. girls married off at even 11 or 12, die of childbirth at 13. or have preemie babies that the girls' bodies could not sustain to full term. then the baies die from lack of proper care. and sometime the girls just get abandoned with their babies. the law...

I meant that was her afternoon nap, otherwise she was up all day. took after granny, I guess, for apparently I did not nap at all. ever.

some days i'd just lie on squeaki's floor next to her crib, and go to sleep. hoping that she'd stay asleep more than her regular 20 mins.

I very much doubt the gov really can dictate anything with our present system in place; people will do whatever regardless.

not sure exactly, but I was told a neighbour was 80 years and his kids from 18 and up. now THAT I think is crazy! oh, look at Elton, ditto for him!
